Pat Watkins has a dual Masters in Early Childhood Education and Special Education from Fordham University and a B.F.A in Theater from Point Park University. Her role with CTDinECE includes supporting schools and programs as an early childhood coach and professional development specialist.  After teaching in a Reggio Emilia inspired early childhood school, she continues her passion for the Reggio Emilia approach in her work with several CTD clients, coaching both teachers and leaders, as well as creating retreats to support deeper connection to the approach and to building communities that support continued learning. In her work with the Continuing Professional Studies program at Bank Street College, she enjoys co-teaching a class on the Reggio Emilia Approach. She also acts as a virtual lead coach for Weber University Lab School, supporting mentor teachers in their work with Reggio and best practices in early childhood education.   Other work with Bank Street College has included acting as an advisor, as a facilitator and early math coach for the Ed Center's Building Blocks Pre-K initiative, and most currently for the High Fives K math project.   In her role with the University of Virginia, she acts as a virtual coach for STREAMin3, a comprehensive early childhood curriculum initiative.  Pat finds inspiration in building communities and creating connections.
