 Liz Amberly McDonald

Liz Amberly McDonald is a Pre-K and 3-K coach, focusing on early childhood math and differentiated instruction. She has worked for Bank Street College Education Center as a math coach and facilitator for Building Blocks. She also worked as a field specialist for Fordham University’s Graduate School of Education. She previously was a Pre-K teacher for a Columbia University-affiliated early childhood center and also has taught Kindergarten. She has coached teachers who use different types of lesson planning including Creative Curriculum, working to create lessons that are engaging, responsive, and meet learning standards in all domains. She has written early literacy tips for the Dolly Parton Imagination Library (published by Penguin Random House). She co-created and facilitated professional development for teachers and leaders at the Atlas Foundation for Autism.
